After Noor and Hafiz, Saleem-Suleman collaborates with folk artist Gulzar Ganie | KNO

Srinagar, May 15 (KNO): After giving platform to the Kashmir folk music, Bollywood music directors Saleem Suleem has collaborated with yet another folk artist to produce a sensational melody. This time the renowned music director duo Saleem- Suleman has joined forces with esteemed Kashmiri folk singer Gulzar Ahmad Ganie for an upcoming project. As per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the music directors announced the collaboration on their social media handles, which has raised curiosity among their fans for the upcoming melody. “Gulzar bhai is a celebrated Kashmiri traditional singer. I’m so excited to have him & Raj pandit on #bhoomi24,” posted Salim Merchant on his official social media handles. The announcement has sparked frenzy among his fans and music lovers from across India, who are eagerly waiting for the release of the track. “Great to see the legend of sufi singing Ustad Gulzar Ganie sahab teaming up with Great legend of the music Industry Salim Merchant in .....#Bhoomi 24. Congratulations and my good wishes,” responded a music lover and social media user Sanjay Pandita. “Gulzar Ganaie Bhai is one of the most popular folk artist of our Kashmir. Wishing him and Bhoomi team best of luck,” responded noted Kashmiri singer Waheed Jeelani. The music director duo, are known for bringing together folk and modern music through the musical journey `Bhoomi’. Previously, the music directors produced musical melodies by fusing Kashmiri folk with modern Bollywood sufi music. Saleem- Suleman so far featured Kashmir folk singers including Abdul Rashid Hafiz and Noor Mohammad Shah. Nazeen, which was sung by Noor Mohammad became instant hit and evoked 12 million views on YouTube. Similarly, Meri Jaan by Abdul Rashid Hafiz too became an anthem and garnered over eight million views on YouTube. Fans are expecting the Gulzar Ahmad Ganie’s melody is going to cross all the boundaries since the singer has. A huge fan base in Kashmir and across India. Ganie is a noted folk singer of Kashmir and grade-A artist of All India Radio. He has enthralled audiences all over the country with his magnificent voice.
